Guided Visit to Naxxar Parish Church & Museum

September 29 @ 6:45 pm - 9:00 pm

Join us for a special guided visit to the magnificent Naxxar Parish Church and the Museum of Naxxar, an opportunity to discover some of Malta’s fascinating history, art and traditions in a way that many of us may never have experienced before.

Did you know that Naxxar was one of Malta’s earliest parishes and that its motto, Prior Credidi — “I was the first to believe” reflects its connection with the shipwreck of St Paul? The magnificent 17th-century parish church is a treasure trove of Baroque art, sculpture and craftsmanship, while the museum houses many remarkable treasures, including historic paintings, statues, vestments, the famous Bambina valance and parish records dating back to 1546. A chance to see these fascinating treasures up close and hear their amazing stories.

Meet at 18:45 at the back door of Naxxar Church. A suggested donation of €10 per person will support the preservation of the museum’s cultural treasures. Partners, family and friends are welcome.

Bookings: Anne Marie Bianchi (WhatsApp, call or email).
