Special Event: Band Music at the Lija Band Club

Rotary La Valette has been invited to a very special musical evening through the initiative of our Rotarian friend, Trancredi Vella and a colleague of Tancredi’s, Rudy Sammut, a musician and event organiser at the Lija Band Club.

We have been invited to a concert at the Chamber Music Band Club by the musicians of the Band Club. It is an initiative to expand the musical talents of the club’s musicians. We will be given a tour of the historic building and a short informative talk on its history. We will also be given information about the UMPA project, which aims to provide music lessons and hands-on musical experiences to children as young as 3-7 years old, helping them get started and become interested at an early age. This is a project that Rotary may be interested in supporting in the future (more information to follow).

After the 45-minute concert, which features various musical genres (including chamber and folk music), we can meet at the Band Club Bar for drinks and snacks.

We will donate €5 per person.
