Rotary Club la Valetta supports the Opera Nova Project

Rotary Club la Valette Club President Godfrey Swain together with Board members Patricia Salomone, Bryan Sullivan and Sandra La Rosa attended a session from an Opera Nova Project weekend Masterclass run by Paul McNamara, the Artistic Leader of the Dutch National Opera Academy at the Opera Nova premises within The Catholic Institute in Floriana.

Maltese Rotary clubs visit the beehives in Safi

On Monday 12th May, 2025, members from RC La Valette Malta, RC Malta and Rotaract Malta were hosted to a very interesting talk by beekeeper Perit Jorge Spiteri, on behalf of the Foundation for the Preservation of the Maltese Honey Bee at Gnien Sir Alexander Ball, Safi, where the beehives are kept. This is one of 8 gardens still extant, planted by the British in the early 19th century.

Fundraising Cocktail Party In Aid Of Sebh

President Godfrey Swain and his delightful wife Maryanne hosted the club at their home in Lija for a fundraising cocktail party. It was a great success in Rotary Friendship, and we raised EUR 2,500 for the club to support our EUR 10,000 contribution to Sebh.
