Rotary Club La Valette has donated €2,000 to ShelterBox UK in support of their emergency response to the devastating earthquake that recently struck Venezuela. The disaster, which caused widespread destruction across several regions, left thousands of families without homes, access to basic services, or the security of safe shelter. As communities struggle to recover, rapid humanitarian assistance remains essential.ShelterBox, Rotary’s longstanding disaster relief partner, was among the first international organisations to mobilise. Their teams are currently working with local contacts to assess damage, identify the most vulnerable families, and deliver essential aid. ShelterBox specialises in providing emergency shelter and lifesaving supplies—such as tents, tarpaulins, water filtration systems, solar lights, and basic tools—designed to help families begin rebuilding their lives after catastrophic loss.
