Rotary Club La Valette members participated in the Interdistrettuale Conference in Siracusa, where ties were strengthened with Rotary Battipaglia—a banner exchange with Incoming President Ing. Luigi Bisaccia marked the beginning of a promising relationship, with future collaboration and a potential twinning initiative on the horizon.

Rotary Club La Valette marked the Feast of St Lawrence with a special Mass at Birgu’s historic parish church, presenting a fully restored 18th-century manuscript from the Santo Uffizio Cartolaro collection. The event highlighted Rotary’s commitment to preserving Maltese cultural heritage and fostering community through service and historical stewardship.

Rotary Club La Valette is sponsoring the restoration of Santo Uffizio Cartolario (1793–1797), a manuscript documenting the Maltese Inquisition. This initiative ensures its preservation through expert restoration, safeguarding a vital piece of Malta’s history for future generations. The project reinforces Rotary’s commitment to cultural heritage and scholarly research.
