With its diverse membership representing many nationalities, Rotary Club La Valette Malta continues to exemplify international Rotarian fellowship. On Tuesday, 9 June, member Juli Tsukui offered an engaging introduction to the culture of her homeland, Japan, and concluded the evening with an interactive Origami session. The presentation provided both insight and light hearted enjoyment for members and guests.
S.A.L.C. District 2110 – Leadership, Training and Vision to “Create Lasting Impact”

Obituary – Rotarian Bryan Sullivan

A last farewell to our dear friend and to a great Rotarian – Bryan Ellul Sullivan. Rotary Club La Valette Malta members were devastated to learn that our dear fellow Rotarian Bryan Ellul Sullivan passed away peacefully on 5th May 2026. Many of us, members of the club, attended his moving funeral at St. Gregory Parish Church in Sliema, Malta.
Service Without Borders: Supporting the Street Kids Project in Nairobi

Members learned about genome sequencing, fruit fly research models, and donated blood samples to support comparative studies. Members, guests, and visiting Rotarians from Pescara explored how these communities shaped the Order’s spiritual and social mission, including the enduring legacy of St Ursula Monastery in Valletta.

Visit to the Malta Postal Museum

The Malta Postal Museum in Valletta hosted a guided visit led by Curator Lara Bugeja Strickland, offering an in-depth look at Malta’s postal heritage. Club members explored four floors of exhibits, including historic stamps, wartime correspondence, post boxes, uniforms, and letters by Lord Nelson, gaining a unique perspective on communication through the ages.
