Strengthening Elderly Care in Novara

Rotary La Valette and Rotary Fenice are advancing a sustainable Global Grant that delivers structured home based care to frail elderly individuals in Novara. With trained workers, a dedicated medical doctor, and strong institutional support, the project strengthens disease prevention, early intervention, and long term community impact.

Focused on supporting vulnerable mothers and their newborns, the project combines essential refurbishment with specialist training, ensuring safer care, stronger support systems, and a more sustainable future for those in need.

Breast Cancer Screening

Main objective is to establish an out-patient clinic within The Trakya University Medical Faculty Hospital to specialise on high-risk potential and actual breast cancer patients, to diagnose, stratify, catalogue, investigate and keep track of such people who have a high risk of developing breast cancer.

St Michael Hospice

Rotary Club La Valette, together with Rotary Malta, District 2110 and District 2100 (Naples & Calabria) have joined forces to assist Hospice Malta open the first palliative care hospital in Malta.
